April 7 Live Pitch Session Filling Up

Pitch session: 9:30-5:30 SATURDAY APRIL 7

Becton Hall Room 208
Fairleigh Dickinson University
Teaneck, NJ

Well we've had a great response to the April 7 Fairleigh Dickinson pitch session. The signup sheet is filling up fast - so if you were thinking of going - don't miss the opportunity - sign up now. Some people are registering to pitch multiple ideas! We're looking forward to hearing some great premises, and hope to make some deals.

Also - in case you aren't ready to pitch, or would like to observe the process - observers have said that they learned more from sitting in on one day with us than they did in years of film school. You can be an observer - just sign up and let us know. You will still have the opportunity of submitting a "virtual pitch" when you're ready.

I look forward to seeing you.

Larry

Pitch NEHST Live at Fairleigh Dickinson – April 7

Well I’m really excited. We’re doing a live pitch session at Fairleigh Dickinson U in NJ. People who sign up go through a marathon day with me and my execs experiencing how to pitch - for real. As many of the group as possible get to pitch us. We're a tough audience. Why? Because we're not giving literary criticism or writing class notes - we're concerned with the business opportunity – the audience, the niche, and the fundability. That’s different, and maybe a little scary to people who are used to pitching to classmates or script consultants. I’m telling you if I think I can fund, sell, produce and distribute it. And if I can, I just may make a deal with you - as I have in a number of pitch sessions.

Our new NEHST Studios will be funded for many features and TV/webisodes, and Internet opportunities. A lot of the traditional show business infrastructure exists to keep you out. I want to turn that on its head, and give you access.

Larry

Deals from Syracuse University Pitch Session

Bill Keys, my head of Distribution and Marketing and I were up in Syracuse to speak with film students, acting students, business students. We met with students from the Newhouse School, and had people from many departments on campus.

There were some very exciting ideas pitched to us, including screenplays, television concepts, and internet premises. I'm happy to say we found three that we're in negotiations for right now. Watch this site for news.

Larry
